MAF trick
MAF trick
Does anyone know about a quick airflow trick to tell your maf that the temp is really lower than it is. I have see a post on a ford ranger forum about a "resistor air flow mod" that basically works like a cheap chip to trick the sensor to think that the air is colder than it really is? Just wondering, I am kinda new to this, wonder if there are links, or if I am just crazy.
It's worthless... yeah it could work on our cars, no it doesn't involve the MAF sensor, it involves the Intake Air Temperature sensor.
The ECU will adjust out any gains made by this within a week's time at least.
