Quick question on sway bar install

I got a Progress Rear Sway bar. I was planning on installing it using ramps instead of the jackstands because I only have access to ramps. I have one question about the install, will the brake lines have to be removed to install the bar?

You will need to remove a bolt that holds the parking brake line.

Do I relocate the bolt or does it bolt up in the same place?

My understanding is that there should be a bolt extension included w/the sway bar kit. The bolt goes right back where it started after the bar is installed. Can someone else confirm this?

If the kit doesn't supply a separate bolt, you should be able to use the same bolt you took off.

If you have a torque wrench, I also need to install a strut bar. I will let you know once I pick up the bar. Thanks.

MacAlert and PoLo, this is too funny:

I'm going to PoLo's some day so he can help me with my Hella horns install.
MacAlert is going there for RSB and FSTB install (FSTB he's buying from me)
I also have a Stillen RSB I need help installing.
And I know PoLo wants to rewire his Hella's.

So, the three of us should coordinate and just all meet up together and knock it all out in one quick afternoon.

BTW PoLo, like I said, I refuse to show up empty handed. I found something which you may find very useful (If you don't have one already). I'll bring it whenever we decide to meet up

EDIT: I have a 14mm if PoLo doesn't find his and MacAlert doesn't have one.

Sounds good, I also have a 14mm. We could make a little mini meet out of this.

noonish works for me.... my driveway is a little too narrow to work in. Unless Mac has something better we could use, I think your yard might be best.

Mac, check your voicemail

I have the Progress RSB on my car and the installation was fairly simple. In regards to the brake lines. You will have to remove the ABS braket and once you install the RSB brackets, you pretty much will be limited to re-attaching the brake lines by zip ties. This is the way I installed mine over the summer from directions I found on the .org. Sadly, Progress does not include a ABS relocation bracket, so you'll have to improvise. Good luck. Took me about 30 minutes overall.

It would help to know whether it's a Progress or Stillen RSB.
