Tranny Update.....:=)...Read !

I went to Temecula Nissan today and explained my problem to them. I tok my guage pod and guages off, just in case. They dont need to see an NX guage right in their face...

I explained my problem to Javier, assistant service manager. He said to bring the car on Monday AM, so he can document it and order me a new tranny !

Im at 57k miles, so I got lucky , right under powertrain limit. I was planning on doing the NX kit this weekend, but it will have to wait a few weeks till my new tranny goes in. They even said I have a right to a 5 day rental if I have downtime on my Max. ....I will keep you guys update. Its still slipping . Does it about 2-3 times a day. I was about to race a Mustang today and I punched it and it sliped like a **** ! ....Oh well.... At least I will get to spray on a new tranny ! Lets see how long it takes me to kill that one !

That's great news, Kloogy. Sounds like that dealer offers better service than most Nissan dealers....offering to replace it right off the bat.

G, that tranny is not going to last more than 5000 miles with the NX kit. Prepare for another one or bulletproof it.
