tweeter recommendation for 2k2 w/Bose?
I seem to recall that one "fix" for the horrible FM sound from our 2k2 SE's Bose system is to replace the tweeters in the A pillars.
Now we've added a Sirius reciever w/FM modulator (because we want to retain the stock look) and the improved highs would really make a difference.
Any recommendations on what tweeters to use?
Thanks...

sorry for so many messages...but one more question...
the 2k2+ Bose systems have individual amps for each speaker set right? and the amps run at 4ohms?
how many watts are running to each speaker, what size are they, and what ohm is the subwoofer/amp
I know all about the 4th gen systems, but I just got my 5th gen...thanks for the help!

they are *****es... they wanted $35 for just my tweeters and 35 for my woofers in the door. what a joke. i did it myself. chanig out the tweeter is a piece of cake. but u may need an adapter cuz ur stuck with bose. check these out....http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/CDT_Audio_Tweeters.html
look at the 1st item down, for $49 i think it was. if u want components i highly recommend the cdt's also for $149.

the install was a joke. i had no clue what i was doing until i took off the pillar. you will see the tweeter bracket and then the wire that just plugs into a little plug. you just pop off the tweeter and cut the wire before it goes into the plug. then just connect the tweeter to the crossover and the crossover to the wires leading to the plug. i just used some strong double sided tape for the tweeter and shoved the crossover in the dash. you will see how easy it is once you take off that pillar.
