in cabin microfilter

i wanted to add one to my max where is the compartment for it located and what do i need to buy?

The slot is behind the glovebox. You just need to buy the filter as all Max's come with the compartment, just not all come with a filter in it.

when you say behind the glove box youmean i have to remove the box to see it or get to it from the bottom

You have to remove the glove box to gain access to it. I removed mine and all I can say is wow. I had a ton of crap in mine. Took me an hour and a half to clean mine

you cleaned the filter instead of replacing it w/ a new filter?

Some filter are washable. I bought mine and installed it and then find that mine was washable.

Yeah it even says on the label on the glove box to clean it in warm soapy water and reuse

No problem.....i was the same way a few weekends ago when i did mine. Had it up on the screen and was running back and forth.
