Neons in the air vents??

ok i was just wondering, and thought it would be cool to put like a small neon bar in the middle air vents. is this possible. and how would i do this. also would the heat/air condition damage the neon light?? thanx

yeah i know its kind of a goofy idea, but i was just thinking bout it

well...you'd probably have to yank off the whole cetner vent to see if you can remove it individually....

I put some super bright led's behind my center vents. Space was very limited behind there, so I settled for LED's instead of a neon bar light. Install was very easy. Just pull on the lower parts of the vents and remove. I tapped into the lighting circuit of the cigarette lighter for power, with a toggle switch in line of the led's to turn on and off whenever I like. Really looks cool at night. I get a lot of compliments on it. At first, I tried a neon light, but it was too,too bright for me. Here is a pic....

Not being sarcastic, but you just "take the middle vents out", it is very simple. Everything on Nissan anymore is snap-fit! I guess you would say you life a little up and then out, but they are just snapped in!

His location says he's from Quebec.

Maybe he's French-Canadian and doesn't do the whole 'English' thing well.

That's a pretty respectful thing to say - how old are you, 12?

Actually, I used those APC "illuminaters" that are made for installing in headlights. They are clear and can hardly be seen when the vents are open. Can be found at your local PepBoys or Autozone.
