homemade intake

My friend made an intake with a k&n filter and pvc piping for his 98 Maxima. I'm thinking about getting him to make one for me. He does take the time to put all the air sensors back in. It's basically a Frankencar intake setup but with pvc pipe. He's had no problems with his, and it sounds mean as hell on his 3.0, so that's pretty much why I'm dying for one since I have a 3.5. What do you all think of this?

ps. I've been looking for Nissan stickers to put on my vents and cut slits through so when it's flush you can see it, anyone know where I could get them?

I would give your MAF a week before it blows. Good luck!

It's better to just buy one.

to add to my early statement. most of the people with OSCAIs that i know of did NOT use PVC - but other materials instead.
