Power Mods

Is There Any Performance Modifications That Can Be Done To Gain Power Without Making The Car Any Louder. I Would Like To Add An Intake But Don't Want To Have To Deal With Having A Loud Car. I Had An Intake On My Previous Car And I Hated Sounding Like All The Teenagers Running Around In My Area.

I'm Not Sure But I Heard Capitalizing Every Word In Every Sentence You Write Can Give You Gains Of Up To 5 HP!!!

UDP, technosquare ECU, Intake without midpipe really doesn't change the sound tremendously. There's about 30hp.

I'm Not Too Familiar With All Of The Different Pieces Of Exhaust On This Car (b-pipe, Y-pipe) But Can Their Be A Power Gain Just By Changing Out 1 Pipe In The Exhaust?

you may get up to 10 whp if you get both these mods- if you do not want an intake you could do the "Getto" Air box or just get a K&N OEM size filter- your gains will be a few hp less than I got with my intake- but modest gains indeed

he bpipe is the pipe that runs between the catalitic converter and the muffler-

LOL, there needs to be a postprocessing filter in the org's post code which identifies sentences with all words capitalized (but the rest of the word lowercase) and convert the first char to lowercase except for the first word...

It's not, but I must admit reading text With Every Word Capitalized gives me a headache something awful. Especially during the onset of the flu-from-hell.

Maybe A Reading Class Would Do Some Good Since The Thread Is About A Power Modification To A Maxima And Not About The Proper Way To Write

Wow, that's a good one there

And the fact that you're catching **** in other threads from other people about the retarded way you type just makes it even funnier.

if you had a 00-01, i can tell you with greater certainty that you should just get a y-pipe. with 00-01 model, a y-pipe alone will not increase much noise and will give you the most hp for your money.

but since you have 02, i don't know if that's the same case at all.

if you keep your stock muffler, none of the mods will increase noise much.
