my cd player just quit try & loa a cd & it will not load gives me a error

I had the same error. They had to replace the unit. Don't know what the problem was, but, new unit installed under warranty. It happened to me when I inserted a CD-R, but i don't think there was any relationship to the error.

Hope you have a warranty!

 

A quarter of the way into the longest road trip my Maxima has seen and I got this error also. It took month for Acme Nissan to get this stupid unit replaced.
