Got Side Swiped.......

got side swiped yesterday driving home from BJ's with groceries, then the saknk has the ballz to try and run, and i was not having that, so i went off after her so were goin thru traffic and shes askin me from her car " why wont you let me leave?" and im like "you just ****in hit me" then she replies "no, you hit me" and my reply to that stupid ****in remark was " then why wont you stop". she then puts her car in reverse and tries to escape because by that time i had my car sideways in a two lane highway blocking all traffic. adn to make a long story short she blows her tranny and motor from down shifting a piece of **** toyota solara toooooooo much. then has the edacity to threaten me...... but no worries i spoke to my advisor friend at nissan and asked hime to add some extra bull **** on the estimate and order me the aniiversarty edition bodykit, head lights, and to really try and get me a set of nismo rims. not only that they are going to replace not fix any of the parts i.e front right fender, front bumper, front passenger door, head lights, and orange marker. so all in all i think i made out with a good deal.........

Wait, so now you're trying to make her pay for a set of anniversary edition bodykit, head lights, and a set of nismo rims?

Sounds like a case of insurance fraud to me. I wouldn't post something like that on a message board. It's most likely a felony in all 50 states.

I hope your "advisor friend" at Nissan isn't dumb enough to write you up a false estimate...he will not only get fired, but he will get arrested for insurance fraud. The dealer can do estimates, but the lady's insurance adjustor will check your ride out and they get paid to sniff out fraud. IMHO, not worth it to try and get away with extras....could work, but could get you in trouble.

That said, it is BS that she tried to run....you should sue her for "emotional damage" from the accident and chase

unless you insure all your aftermarket parts, your insurance not going to pay for them.

Dude, why wouldn't you just take the license plate number, call the police, have her thrown in jail, and be done with it. I don't get it...

I don't know about Florida, but in Virginia, where, for some stupid reason, we have a concealed carry law, I think that she probably could have convinced a jury that she feared for her life during your pursuit of her and that's why she pulled a .38 on you and put a round through your forehead.

she blew her tranny and motor, so she had no choice but stop. the entire time i had my cell on my left ear talking to the cops. so all in all when she stopped three cruisers stopped and investigated and wrote her two tickets. she gave them her license and insurance, but my thing is i think she ran cuz she didnt have insurance. so if she doesnt ima sue that middle aged skank.

Glad you got her finally..But dont try to get extra's its not worth it, she doesnt have insurance and you will have to pay your rental and deductable fees. She is a loser and shouldnt even be driving around without insurance not to mention the fact she tried to leave the scene. She doesnt have a pot to pi@# in.

And if it doesn't, it's conspiracy to commit fraud. Either way, it's illegal.

If she didn't have insurance, then what the hell is she giving to the cops? This whole thread sounds like to me from the beginning.

If you are still going to sue her over a new bodykit, etc..... good luck to you, bro. I think you're going to need lots of that because the last time I checked, insurance fraud is a crime. Just don't end up in jail because of that.

Wait a minute, isn't Florida a no fault state?

Doesn't that mean that your insurance company pays your claim, her's pays her claim (she has none) and then they call it a day?

So you're talking about scamming your own insurance company?

Oh, well. For everyone else, http://www.fldfs.com/fraud/fraud_busters.htm:

maybe she sideswiped you to do you a favor and remove the nismo sticker.
and you have had two accidents??? maybe a trend?
and i know your response "they were not my fault!!!" that does not matter, could you have prevented it? a buddy of mine t-boned a chick that pulled out to turn left in front of him. cops show up, her fault, end of story. but he was going 60 in a 40 when he hit her so it was his fault cause from 40 he could have stopped. but no one can prove that. so even if the other person gets a ticket you can "cause" an accident or should i say "not prevent" one.
and no matter what the insurance wont give you squat for the aftermarket stuff.
