Our brakes replaced with g35 brakes?

i've been looking around the i30/i35 discussion forums here and someone brought up putting g35 brakes into the i35. since maximas are basically the same as i35s i was curious if you guys know if g35 brakes will fit out cars. or are there better and cheaper brakes you guys can suggest as a replacement?

That's a very interesting point, I've had my share of warped rotors again and again...I believe nissan didn't design our brakes the way they should have.

Maybe they actually did the brakes right on the G35!

Someone look into this... Maybe it's a Brake solution for us Maxima owners!!!

For the average user, the brakes are fine. I've owned 3 Maximas and never had any problems with the brakes at all. No warped rotors or squealing. I put 100k miles on my 92 SE and never had to change the rear pads.

25k, and the rotors were warped on my max... look through the ORG, and you will find plenty of people with the same experience. I would hardly call this situation "fine" for normal users!

What I mean by average applys to people like me who do mostly highway driving. I can only speak from my own Maxima experience. Some people are harder on brakes than others. Some people allow impact guns to be used when tightening their lug nuts. Some people do a lot of city driving so it can have an adverse effect on their brake systems. A lot of people have different problems for different reasons because of different driving habits and techniques. Some people have problems with their stock tires but I have not.

The 2k2 and 2k3 rotors are much improved over the 2k and 2k1 rotors. Someone posted a pic comparing a 97, 2k, and 2k2. The 2k2 were larger and thicker. NIssan got the clue. Of course , stopping power on the 2k2 has not improved IMO.

Even the enlarged 02-03 brakes suck. I went and got a BBK, but for those who want something a little more budget-friendly, go with new rotors/pads/SS lines
