SES light on , please help?

SES light on , please help?

im getting my ses light on , and i was told on the org that i can take it to pep boys/autozone and i could get the codes for free, i took the max today and they told me it cost $72. so what do i pay or what , oh just in case i get some bad cold starts this morning the car didn't even want to turn , the whole car was shaking , it was rumbling. please tell me what can it be ?

did it start up, sputter and die? Check your oil breather lines and EGR lines...my EGR line blew off the other day, and that needs vacuum, and the SES light went on. and for some reason, it appears my diagnostic screw for the ECU is stripped off (i keep finding real real weird things in this car...) I'm gonna take mine in tommorow...

chris if it still under warranty take it back to the dealer!!
