Re-Designed My Web-Site

FYI:

http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/ has changed it's look!!!!

For those whom like to link directly to the pages, the site has been re-designed. I've tried to make every effort not to rename the pages, or at least create an auto-redirector to it, but there will still be links that no longer work.

Alot of the images were re-sized, re-named, and re-organized in a more orderly fashion.

None of the TSB databases or PDF files were changed.

Some of the old links on Maxima.org are no longer valid. Because I cannot edit every post that has one of the links (hint to moderators to let me join the 5th gen team?), I have made an effort to create pages on the site with the information embedded into them.

I also created a Navigation Bar that is available on every page. The NavBar will allow you to jump around a little more efficiently.

Also, I have posted up new pictures of projects that I'm working on or have recently completed (V1 Radar Mount). More information will follow on those projects later on.

And for those history buffs, I am locating old pictures of my car, as well as old modification information and detail. I will be posting those up into their respective sections as time permits.

This was meant to be informative more than anything, but comments, suggestions, questions, and errors are more than welcome.

Is it just me? I find that the older design is better.

Hey studman,

Nice info. Would you mind adding a screenshot/values of the 16x16 maps from the e-manage?

thanks

Yeah, it was a decision that I had to make. Unfortunately, dial-up people get shafted alot more. But I figured that at least with the NavBar, you wouldn't have to browse through 3 pages to find the one that you really wanted.

Is it just me? I find that the older design is better.
There is one in every crowd. Each site has it's advantages and disadvantages. Maintainence with the old site was difficult at best. Also, organization was extremely difficult as well, as many things on the site were linked to others, but there was no central reference of what was available on the site.

I have no point of reference...don't know what the old design was.
http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/version1/ ... if something on it doesn't work, I don't care anymore.

The dynos and timeslips are based upon dates. Both sections will get more info added later which will explain everything, but for now, here's the deal. The dynos are just copies of my dynos for each mod. They aren't explained right now, but they will be as time progresses. The track slips were proof that the transmission was busted. I ran the car several times late last year trying to see if it was just me, but it wasn't. I had the tranny replaced just before Christmas.

Nice info. Would you mind adding a screenshot/values of the 16x16 maps from the e-manage?
Those images, along with the rest of the content for the site, are located on my work laptop. I'll be getting that stuff migrated to my home computer, where I can integrate it into the site. I'll try my best to get them up soon.

Studman,
I like the new look. Makes it a bit easier to navigate through as I mentioned to you. Hope everything turns out with what you were telling me.

Hey Studman,

Is it possible to post a screenshot of the Greddy with values stock values in the table (16x16 map)? Or can it not pull up the OEM values?

thanks

woosh: The values for the E-Manage are only changed while you tune. For the true stock setting, all numbers should be set to zero. I don't have my data chart for a bone stock car, as I was not bone stock when I installed the E-Manage. My values wouldn't help you with your car, as they were tuned specifically for my car with my mods. E55AMG2 has the same E-Manage that I have (which I tuned it) and his numbers for his mods are still different from my car's numbers.
