A/C Problems!!!

Every once in a while when I get in my car the A/C just plain refuses to operate (nothing blows out the vent/no air flow). It happened again yestersday when I was on a 1hr ride. I tried everything so I gave up and just turned everything off. After about a half an hour I decided to try it again and this time it came on. What is the deal here?

sounds like electrical short...if the compressor doesnt start continuously, its your compressor...if the compressor kicks and u get hot air, you need freon (have a leak somewhere)

No airflow? Check the fan switch. A/C won't engage if the fan does not run.
