2002 and up tailight cover removal question
Well I'm normally a 4th gen guy. But a fellow friend of mine has a set of 2k2 lights for his 2k max. Well one of the lights is chipped on the right corner and water has gotten in and stained it. I wanted to remove the cover for him and clean it up. However when using the same method as my car...heating up the edges to soften the glue..........it doesnt work...and if anything its been softening the plastic.......as when I go to pull the cover back some it bends a little. Anyone else have these problems? Perhaps you could over some better advice to me. I'm pretty puzzled. I tried not getting it so hot the next time..but it wont budge. My 4th gen was so easy to do. Thanks
