Yeah, I just had to post this interesting encounter I had with my friend last night. He got a 95 integra manual with the usual cai, exhaust hook up and everything and he’s always’s talking about how he can smoke me. I got a 00 se auto. I always’s smoke him though. Anyway, we had just got finished installing his subs and he said, “oh yeah, I just got my car out of the shop, I’ll smoke you now cuz I got a different pulley and my clutch is better. My car is way faster than before, the only reason why you got me the firs time is cuz my foot got stuck on the clutch.” Anyway, we were at a light with a nice straight little stretch and absolutely no cars and when it turned green we gunned it, im telling you, we were never even close, I smoked him the whole way as I heard his little ricer engine cry. Then I hear this V8 coming up behind me and im like “this ain’t possible, his integra don’t sound like that” all of a sudden a 95 impala ss fly’s past both of us!! Im still impressed that I still smoked my friend because my engine was cold and my coils are bad!! I mean don’t have any power it seems like. Im getting the coils today though and putting them in. How much affect on the performance does bad coils have on the car?? How much power is lost??
