Anyone replace their wheel studs?

I'm thinking this is a pretty straight forward job... but, has anyone done it?

pictures would be nice too...

I think you may need a press to get them in. A job like this is so cheep, that I would suggest you let it be someone elses problem. I had 4 replaced last year for $9. at sears

its an easy job, one shop near me wanted 200 bucks to do it for me!!!

i went to nissan, picked up some studs (which were really cheap, few bucks each) 30 or so minutes later i was back on the road.

I replaced 2 on my drivers side in about 30 minutes. It was pretty easy.

Follow the instructions from this page to remove your brakes and rotor http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/300

When your wheel looks like the last picture you can bang out the stud on the open side with a hammer then put the new one in.

To install the new one put your rotor back on put the studs in the hole and tighten the lug nut with a few washers to pull the stud into place. Once the studs are in place jut put the calipers and pads back on and your done.

I'll post some more links later with detailed instructions.
