Decent Exhaust - On a Budget?!

I came across this cat-back setup on E-Bay and from the pictures and discription it looks to be a fairly good deal.. Has anyone had any experience with this setup? Any opinions?

i think the tubing is 2.25". That is not that good of an exhaust for performance but for tone and look i guess it will do the job

2.25 " tubing plus small res = no power and rice sound...... for that price get b pipe and add a few horse

BTW the finish looks great (greddy knockoff) so if you preffer cosmetics...

2.25" and no power?
maybe you havent seen how nissan crushed 2 sections on a stock bpipe.

IMO - cat-back is a waste of money if your ypipe is still stock.

www.warpspeedperformance.com has good prices, i got my whole exhaust for $200 for a catback, and it sounds sweet. check e bay for mufflers, i'd go with flowmaster if i had to do it again.

i bought the same style, but it was made by obx...living in chicago, you have the same issues we have here...snow and salty roads. my factory exhaust rusted out on my 2k in 2.5yrs! i bought this cause it was stainless, it was inexpensive, it was an improvement over stock, and it has a deeper tone to it...not ricey as some have speculated. it is a bit louder, but it is deep and has a very nice throaty note at higher rpms. for people who are looking for a close to stock sound at normal speeds...this isn't the one. it sounds even better on my 2k2 now....and yes, the factory pipe is CRUSHED in 2 spots-from the factory! my .02= good deal for an exhaust that will last you and give you mild performance gains, and more of a deep performance tone, and for some, better looks(beauty is in the eye of the beholder) i was also very impressed with the quality...very nice welds, and the finish is near show quality (98 out of 100).

Looks good but 2.25" piping???? Ricey sound with the small resonator like said earlier. Just my 2 cents.

just curious what you consider ricey...i consider ricey to be like a can of bees that are really pi$$ed off...like a honda at 8000rpms. or like a frikin tim allen lawn mower! this one is a very deep tone to it and it doesn't get harsh at wot. just trying to figure out what ricey is to others...no dis intended.

the resonator is actually 3x the size of the factory one on the one i ordered.

I have Warpspeed. Biggest POS ! It was a beesh to get it to fit properly. I had to get extra welds done to it, and some bending....as well as removing some brackets......You get what you pay for.

If its 2.5 , its worth the shot. Its basically a Greddy knockoff....for that price you cant go wrong though, since its mandrel bent.....the stock exhaust has some hideous bends and crushed sections on it.

Correct me if Im wrong, but dont you want to stay at 2.5 inch instead of going to 3 inch if you do not have forced induction?
