Wow, you think these are stolen
be careful about "Posing" as a police officer. That's illegal too and can get you in some trouble. Not like he's gonna call the real police and complain, but you should pose as someone from the "federal headlight theft investigation agency" (FHTIa) or some other made-up group instead, just to be safe

evil...nice headlight conversion. can you show us your receipt from the dealer? oh, let me guess, you traded someone that had to get rid of theirs because they were afraid they would get stolen?

you stole these! you are the lowest form of life on this planet. **** actually resides higher on the evolutionary chain than you do. people like you deserve to be shot when caught in the act. what makes you think that you have the right to steal something from someone who actually has a job and works hard for a living to have nice things...just because you weren't smart enough to learn that hard work does have rewards...best bet for you is to stop breathing. you are wasting precious oxygen that people that actually have some moral fortitude and drive to do something with their lives could use. do us all a favor and kill yourself. you have been reported to ebay and the authorities for selling stolen merchandise. can you say larceny? grand larceny? have fun tellin your story to the police.

Yeah evil...now I have asked you twice and now IWNTMORHP has also asked you - where did YOU get yours? Maybe you are so against this thread because you bought ebay stolen headlights and you are part of the problem, not the solution.
I've just won an auction for 02 hid for the max. What I didn't realize is that he is from union New Jersey (I don't read all the details at the time of bidding). I also received an interesting email from stolenhid@comcast.com stating how the lights are most-likely stolen and that I might be ripped off and not receive a thing. Here's the item #:2453850056
I'm still undecided on what to do.

hmmmm......you might receive them, but that won't change the fact that they are probably stolen from one of your fellow maxima drivers.....your conscience, your call, thought receiving stolen property is illegal. I would contact ebay and see if you can get out without screwing your buyer rating...

No you are not alone, nor will be the last one. Although i symphatize with anyone who has had something on their car messed with (whatever that is, and i have been there too) you have to understand that personal opinion is just that, and if you get on the case of everyone that does not chime in with something you like, then, you are just trolling around with no cause. You want constructive input? Move, use a garage or frankly, bolt your lights down with custom steel bolts and brackets to the frame. I don't see what constructive input you can actually expect since everything that could have been done concerning the ebay sales of "parts" has been exhausted. So unless you manage to file some sort of investigation with the proper authorities, you really are not contributing anything either. If you actually read my post, i suggested that a thread/forum/whatever be made for such discussions, like with the technosquare ECU, stillen headers, and other topics that have been of high interest. Now if you somehow magically skipped through that part, pity.
There are many valid headlight related posts around, but just posting the weekly "hey i found these on ebay for sale, think they are stolen *wink wink*" is getting old, to me anyway, and last i checked it is not against any rules, including the unwritten moral ones to express that.

into the reply was not necessary. No one made you click on the thread. You saw the subject, you don't like, move on. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you were just being ignorant. Pity. Oh and one more thing...STFU.

Quite a few.
I dont think that is true. I purchased my hids from a retailer on ebay, and they are def not maxima hids nor stolen ones. The maxima hids are much more difficult to install on the 2k-2k1 than hella ballast hids. The hella ballast is plug and play, will the 2k2 ones need some splicing...

So, anyone else call this character or has he changed his cell phone number already?
