I was kind of looking at moving to a Corbeau seat in my Max, to stop me from sliding around when going around turns. As of right now I have to brace with my knees to stay in one spot.
I am interested to know if anyone has gone to a racing style seat and if it is worth the expense. Plus any other thoughts that might be pertinent.
Also, what type of weight savings is involved? The Corbeau seats are around 25-30 pounds apiece. No motors involved so I suppose there is some.
So many toys .....so little money.

I know....not really a sports car, but I have it for a few more years and I was going to go for a black leather seat to match the interior, not a colorful eye-strainer. I go into the north georgia mountains on occasion and over the course of 300 or more very tight turns I get worn out fighting the sliding. I am a relatively small guy and don't fill the seat much. Heck even going to work slip...slide.... I would fit in the "spirited" driver category.

The TRS seat in leather
I really like the leather ones but cloth really keeps you pinned more.
Personally I've been looking to get some for my 3rd gen, with the current suspension mods plus the ones on my list, I'm definately looking for something to keep me pinned in the car more than the stock seats (black leather, it's kind of slick). I like my Dad's 2000 SE 5spd with grey leather, it offers more support, but I find that my car is much more comfortable on longer trips (despite the stiffer suspension). Since I dont have much money floating around, I've been thinking about the summit seats, the single preformed ones with cover.

Yep I should, but then spending the money on the RE750's and suspension would be for naught. It would be like buying an expensive painting and putting it in the closet. I will get the Buick for when I slow down.
