Wow did i ever get killed. This guy had a full roll cage and a huge tach and was really loud so i should have known better... So we leave the first light not racing and i zoom by him to instigate somthing, we get upto the next light and i look over at him and motion forward and he nods his head in agreement. Im thinking easy win for some reason, damn im cocky. Light changes and he revs up and spins his tires like crazy and launches out of the hole like mad. His 60' had to have been like 1.6 or somthing, it was crazy he was just gone, i was his bitcch.... Im serious this thing had to run like 13's maybe 12's. He let off arouind 70 to let my slow *** catch up and i just looked over in disbelief and he nods, it was a cool race. Maybe ill see him at the track someday and we can talk cars. He had to have turbo on it. The best part about his car was his rear window sticker. It said "FUC HONDA" It was great

Here is an update on the race. I talked to a few friends and it turns out this guy in the bug usually attends the local illegals and kills everyone there and my friend sees him at the track and the guy runs 11.3's............ SHIET he dropped a 350 into his bug ohh well, live and learn

How the hell would a 350 even fit? I've seen turbo boxter engines in bugs before though.

How would a 350 fit? He forced it and tied it all together with roll cage tubing.

he had to have cut up the front to put that size motor in there.. I seen 1 just like that in Cali. The guy had a 350 with a nitro system,he also cut down the rear. I dont really like bugs but this car was phat!!!I think it was in Hot Rod magazine

For a moment there I thought you were talking about an old friend of mine's bug. However, he lives in Tucson and his does have a TURBO. It's pretty quick, but I've never raced. Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll give him a call later.

Sounds like you might have been taken out by a bug with a neat fitting late model 911 porsche engine. A 350, I'd have to see for myself!!
