Hard Launch = Bouncing Front end

Hard Launch = Bouncing Front end
Ok so I tried to launch the car hard from a dead stop (I have 2k2 6spd btw), Clutch pressed, RPM at 2500RPM, Clutch released 85%, Feel the tire break loose, Clutch fully released, throttle 1/3 way down, front of the car starts to bounce up and down, tires still spinning for 5 seconds before the car start to pull.
How do I eliminate the bouncing?? Can't tires just kinda spin and with smoke coming out? and take off smoothly??
Like how the VW Jetta takes off with wheel spinning in the movie "The Fast and The Furious" when Jessy was racing the S2000.
Some Pointers would be nice, some Mods would help me achieve this?

wheel hop! i have the same issue with my 2k2 6spd! stiffer springs, and motor mounts may help. changing tires brands may help too. i just had the transverse link recall done, and they said it should cure the problem...nope! just under hard acceleration i have this issue, not just when i dump the clutch and try to smoke the tires...that actually produces less wheel hop for me. hope that helps.

I've changed tires and wheels (even different size) and it did not help at all
It hopes it 1st and 2nd badly...
I guess i will windoweld engine mounts next. The only question is how much engine vibration it will transfer to the body... Does anybody have exp with that, i mean how it feels after it's done.

I was going to call Cattman to see if he had any of the Place Racing mounts in stock, however his number is no longer in service. I am going to email him today or just call Place. does $275 sound about right? that is pretty much list price, if anyone can point me to a cheaper source...
Thanks

Thanks, so I guess Stiffer springs+better shocks + Low Profile tires= No more bouncing at hard launch. Its good to know I'm not the only one with this problem...
1BADMAX has the motor mounts in his car. The vibration is noticable, but you do get used to it. It also gets better when you are driving, so it's not as noticable.

You have to learn to drive around wheel hop. 5th gens are notorious for it. Mainly, you need to slip the clutch while coming onto the gas.
I've found for my 2k that the best launches I have at the track are slipping the clutch from about 4k rpms on the launch.

Most of you are suggesting replacing the stock motor mount with something stronger and harder. Well I don't think I would mind a little increase of vibration.....but replacing motor mount sounds like a lot of work (aka expansive labor) Anybody have an idea how much it would cost to do a work of this size?

The wheel hop is a PITA....but there are ways to minimize it or rid of it....just takes practice launching
your best bet is a set of street drag radials (BFG's)
to help you stick to the pavement
unless you live at the track.....or your car is race only.....why would you want
to drive everyday in a vibrating Maxima....I repeat Maxima......I used to own an 86'GT
with aftermarket motor mounts....got annoying real quick

lol yeah I don't race that often anyway, I just watch the fast and the furious DVD and saw how the Jetta took off (No wheel hoping) when he was racing the S2000 so I just want my Max to be able to take off like that, thats all.
