blown stock HU void factory warranty?

blown stock HU void factory warranty?

Upon installing my system i blew my factory head unit(its ok because that was just temporary).I replaced all of the stock speakers and everything do you think if i bring them the car they will void the warranty if they see after market audio parts were put in or do u think they will fix no prob?

im assuming he meant yes they will void warranty. i agree with that.

it will just void the warranty on the audio components

they will give you all sorts of bs though. i brought mine in for a burnt ECU and they blamed my aftermarket stereo for it. they are not even related to each other.

so how exactly do you *burn* the ECU? seriously... wth

i funked my stock hu too, watched it smoke when i was installinga new one. I was already over it tho, didnt even wanna waste my time at the dealership

Nissan didn't want to fix mine under warranty even with the problems the 2002 Bose Headunits have. I had to fight for 2 months with Nissan and got the regional sales manager involved. They finally fixed it, but then that one died too, so good luck. Chris
