i will prob go with coilovers next time. but the stech / illumina combo is great imo...but im comparing to a crappy previous combo....i love the way they handle in the turns...worth the extra stiffness. nevvver had bottom out issues..no lip/body kit either. but these other guys could prob offer you a better more experienced opinion.

By bottoming out we mean whacking the bumpstops. It's actually quite soft compared to something like my A32 on eibachs. So, different context here I think.

Hey guys, sorry to resurrect this thread, but I just got an '02 maxima and this is the only thread I saw fitting to post my question in.

My car currently has Tein springs from the previous owner, and sits about 1-1.5" lower on stock struts. Living in NYC, the crappy roads and bumps make the ride a bit harsh so I'd like to change back to stock height springs to make it a bit smoother. I can't seem to find OEM springs anywhere online to buy, only Moog springs. Any idea where to buy original springs? (also, when buying springs, if it doesn't specify that it's a lowering spring, is it safe to assume that it will bring the ride height back to stock?)

Thanks guys.
