Hey guys - I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on some Illuminas, but I'm just curious what setting you guys run on your Illuminas day to day on the street. Honestly, the main reason I'm considering the Illuminas is I don't want to be stuck with a rough ride I can't adjust. Would you say a 1/1 setting on the Illumina's is as comfortable as stock?

Not to through your question off track but I was wondering where you are getting your Illuminas from because I want to get some too...for the best deal. Also, couldn't help but notice what you said re: adjustment on them. Once there in you can't adjust them??

5/5. The weather and roads are great here in LA so ive been in heaven. I put it down to 4/4 and 4/5 sometimes since ive been playing with the settings, but it hasnt been below 4 since i set it up from 3.

Id say 1/1 is about as comfortable as stock, but not exactly in the same way. Its a little more rough, but i say more comfortable because it doesnt bounce and lean like crazy.

Well, the cheapest price I've found yet is Ebay. If others know of a cheaper price than $438 shipped, let me know!

The Illuminas are adjustable shocks. Both rebound and compression can be adjusted after installation with a screwdriver via a setting on the top of the strut.

Well that's reassuring - I live in the burbs of KC where almost all the roads are like glass. Problem is it's so flat out here and everything is laid out in a neat little grid. Makes it hard to find hills and corners to really enjoy a suspension's abilities!

1/1 is close to the stock ride with a little more control on the big bumps. I'm running on 2/2 for now. Thinking of going to 3/3 for a couple of weeks. Easy to adjust unless you are like me and have a sub box in the trunk that has to be moved to adjust the backs. Got them on Ebay for $429 shipped.

Hey its sort of a wierd angle, but you can adjust the rear struts if you put down the back seats and stick your head in from there. No need to move your audio stuff.

I go in through the back seat but my sub box is right up against the back seat so I have to scoot it back a little bit to get to the strut towers. I have found that if I use a longer screw driver and go in through the hole higher up on the strut tower I can adjust it easier.
