All the recalls against 2002 Maxima 6 speed

Can anyone list all the recall against the 2002 Maxima 6 speed.

Based on my memory:

Cross link
Ignition coils
Engine control Software
And the latest, the crank sensor defect (just got that in the mail)

My gut feel when I bought the car: it wasn't ready for the market.
I tried to tell that to the arbitrator but was useless. The district
engineer totally denied it. Well, look at it now !!

Remember the hesitation in the engine !!

Please refer me to all the web sites for all the recalls. Thanks

alan

Actually the only official recall for the 2003 has been the sensor.

http://www.nissanusa.com/form/0,,act...-51054,00.html

You're confusing TSB's and Recalls. Every car has a ton of TSB's...

http://www.alldata.com/recalls/index.html

Pick almost any 2003 from almost any manufacturer, there will be at least 10 TSB's for that car.

I have a 2002. There has only been four recalls that I know of for the 02. The transverse link, engine sensors, accelerator pedal stop and odometer replacement. I have not had any of the problems that you mentioned. My car was running fine with the old sensors but I had them replaced anyway.

There are only 4 recalls for the 2002:

Accelerator Pedal Stopper
Odometer Replacement
Transverse Link
Crankshaft Position Sensors

As for TSBs, there are several, all of which are available at my web-site. Read the 5th gen FAQ to get the address to my site, since the WWW buttons may or may not appear.

What was the odometer replacement one? I never got that recall but I did get the three others. Does anyone know what VIN #'s it applied to? Thanks.

All recalls are also classified as a TSB, so it's available on my site. The number is NTB01-086. You can see if it applies to you or not by reading the TSB and matching it against your VIN number.

I believe the Odometer recall was for the GLE not SE. You can find more info on the TSB list.

yo studman, your site is the shiet!!

Thanks for all the info especially with the TSBs. My nissan dealer isn't going to be so happy when I send in my car for all that stuff.
