Mine pulled only 130MPH @ 6,500rpm's In 4th gear: on Nj Turnpike and I tried to go faster than 130MPH and the gas cuts off

17" 5spd Federal spec SEs had no speed limiter, the AE 5spds didn't have it eighter. I had my ECU re-flashed with the V-rated tires program and it worked fine, then it was reflashed again for yet another MAF, and they put in the OE program- forgot to tell em to do the V rated tire program. Dont matter the Rev/Speed meter from Apexi takes the speed limiter off- I will try to take pics of the speedo pegged sometime with the tach at 6700RPMs.
There is a wire you can cut on your ECU that removes the limiter. This will throw a CEL so put a switch on the wire so you can leave it connected when not in use. Do a search for Ben's ECU mod, as I can't remember what wire this is.
