MOMO Combat EVO
MOMO Combat EVO
I came across this shift **** and really liked it, but can't seem to find the dimensions. Does anyone have this or a version of this shift ****? I have an auto, so hopefully it'll fit. Since i have an auto, i don't want a **** that's too tall. Plus i think it'll go good with my white and silver theme i'm thiking of doing. Let me know what you think???
Yes, that **** will fit beautifully. I have the same exact **** on my '03 automatic, except my **** is the Combat EVO Airmetal. It is the exact same except the silver inlay is replaced with a chromed inlay that has tiny dimple holes. Yes, these ***** look great in the Maxima. They do not stick up any higher than the stock *****.
Just make sure you buy a new **** that comes with all the rubber adapters in order to mount it to the Maxima shaft. Very important.

Sorry, I don't have pics, and I don't have a digital camera. I know--I'm behind the times. I'm too cheap to get a camera. Sorry.
The reason I chose the "Airmetal" version is because of its chrome features. I liked the way it accented my chrome gauge rings and accented the chrome shift shaft of the Maxima. I would stick with the Airmetal version because it looks better because of the chrome. Also, the airmetal version has a chromed bottom ring which makes the **** look like it belongs on the Maxima shaft. I hope this makes sense.
I'm pretty sure you will be happy with it's looks. However, I realize that everyone's tastes are different. Plus, the grey stitching on the **** is a nice touch and compliments the rest of the car's interior very well. If you end up disliking the ****, just sell it on eBay. You'll probably lose a little bit of money, but at least you'll have a way to get most of your money back out of it if you don't like it for some reason. Just a thought!
