3 Spark plugs?

I need to replace the spark plugs on my 2000 Maxima SE. I was curious becuase I know that it is a 6 Cylinder, so I would assume there were 6 spark plugs, I have only been able to find 3. I have a hayes automotive manual and they show only taking out three spark plugs, but I couldn't figure out how you would get one spark plug to ignite two different cyclinders. Am I just missing where the other spark plugs are, or are there really only three spark plugs. Thanks for any help.

I was going to do a search on the forum, but the search function is not currently working.

they're in there... way in the back. Keep looking and check the manual again...they're in there.

Yeah, your motor is mounted sideways because your car is front wheel drive. They are on the back side of the motor, closest to the windshield.
