How do you paint your taillights to match your body color...do they sell covers for the tails that you can paint?..or is there another way so that it matches the paint of the car. i have a 02 and want the chrome part to be color matched..anyone??

the tint taillights looks good on several colors, but if you have a color other than black or silver, body-colored taillights are super-rice IMHO....Saw a blue 325i with body-colored rear light lens frames, and it looked terrible....but, it's not my car, it's yours!!!

I bought a pair of 2K tails in order to get the red/clear piece and it was a disaster. I believe what people do is cut them open and then glue them shut. They could also possibly get a second pair and cut a different line in order to get both pieces in good shape. In any case, it is difficult.

Mine are painted body color too. I think it looks a lot better on darker colored cars personally.
