How much do you think it would cost to swap a used/good condition 02/03 engine and 6 spd tranny into a 00 maxima. Parts/labor after its all said and done, what kind of number are we talking about here?

Yes, you can swap it. Yes it has been done. No, it isn't worth it.

 

id say...5g including all the ECU stuff. and labor etc...

Resale after on a engine transplanted car sucks @ss

 

gotta 5 speed swap on my maxima..1000 just for labor because of tcs..normally its 900.. parts totalled alot..prolly liek 1400 or so..
so yeah...2400 you can have everything incl. short throw shifter, exedy street clutch, stock flywheel, etc...used tranny

Some guy that had a wrecked 2k2 to part out. He wasn't a regular orger, but he had lots of pics because he was trying to sell it.

 

your better off putting a supercharger easier install better performance and cheaper just my 2c
