taking out accelerator

taking out accelerator

how is the cable attached to the top of the accelerator assembly? i am trying to put in the AE pedal but alas did not have enough light left in the day to see what i was doing... any pictures or tips?

does the assembly seem hard so far? I'm thinking about doing it but don't want ot run into problems with the accelerater install.

haha, i had the same problem you had. i tried about 5 different times to get that off before i lost my patience and gave up. there is a nut/fastener on the back of the assembly where that wire comes through. i just took it to nissan when i had an oil change, they charged me 25 bucks.

from what i gather you can just "pop" the nut at the top of the assembly out of the top by pushing on it from the back... is this correct?
