MAF problem solved?

I want to order an intake, since it is time to start moding...but I remember people having problems all the time with their MAF's failing...now is this simply with K and N filters or what? I just don't want to deal with warranty work every week or have to pay for MAF's myself...Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks

blubyu2k2 blew one of his mafs with an apex'i dry filter. if you are using a k&n the just make sure its not overoiled from the factory. after i clean my cone filters, i let them dry out for a couple of days before i use them again.

Thats what I'm saying...dealerships in the area are really big a$$holes just when getting service in general, god forbid its warranty work...and I have heard people even with the dry filters having probs

mine blew with the jwt popcharger and i was on the way home from the dragstrip when it blew and it was towed to the dealer with the popcharger still in and they called me and told me to bring in my stock intake and they'll put it back in and cover the maf under warranty. which i was surprised to hear
