Price for new MAF??

Ok apparently it is my MAF thats gone,....My car wont rev over 2500RPMS and the SES light is on. Im going to have it replaced today. What should I expect to pay for a new MAF? And is there a better MAF out there?? Say something off a vq35de maybe?? I have the PR-CAI since day one, which was way back in April,..first time my MAF has gone.To avoid this problem again or even to just get a lil more time out of a MAF,is there anything else I can use??

Thanx for all the help.

Peace
Justin

I don't think you'd want a MAF off the 2k2+'s, they are pretty bad & the gen. consensus is that the 2000-01 MAFS is more tolerant of aftermarket intakes. Call Dave B., IIRC MAFS for 2000's is only around $120 (as opposed to ~$400 for the crappy 2k2+)

Hows this for a swift kick in the nuts,...*** NISSAN OF THE BRONX,...$502.84 b4 tax. With tax its $547. They can blow me,..... Thank god for DAVE B. Im getting my New MAF from him and an ashtray kit for a 1/5 what I was gonna pay for just the MAF at ***.

If you live in and around the BRONX/NYC AREA,....STAY AWAY FROM *** NISSAN,....THEY ARE A RIP OFF.

it may physically fit but 2k2-2k3 have the air temp sensor built into the maf where the 00-01 have a seperate sensor and would surely trip the cel if you put a 2k2 maf in place of a 2k-2k1.

its not the whole MAF assembly you need, its just the sensor...they run around a hundred bucks from any dealer, just gotta know the part number, which is 226802Y001 (got the part number from www.jerryromenissan.com )
