2k Bose system sound clicking

This is starting to really annoy me, I havent payed a lot of attention before but heres whats happening...

My stock bose sound system in a 2000 is making clicking, or more of a ticking sounds when playing CDs, mostly with any music. I dont know what triggers it, the bass or the treble or whatever. I have a friend with a 2k maxima as well, and I have observed that he has the same problem, just a little bit less ticking.

Anyone experiencing(ed) the same problem?

Thanks.

The same thing started happening on my 2k bose a couple of weeks ago.

Any cd recorded or original at any volume has a weird clicking sound.

The only thing that happend to me recently was that my sidemarkers were stolen with the connectors. I have the wires taped up for now. Maybe something isn't grounded right.

Didnt try original CDs, just recorded only. And no, it doesnt happen with radio stations. Happens at any volume.

The bose system is an option.
Two indicators of a bose system is that you will have a subwoofer behind the rear seat and it will say bose on the tape deck door.
