02 Bose Head Unit Skipping

I just bought my Maxima about 3 weeks ago, and I noticed ( seems to do it alot more when the car is just turned on) the cd player will skip, almost constently. The car has 32k on it so Im thinkin dealer is gonna get a visit for Warrenty work. Any Ideas? Comments?

I assume you have the Bose 6-disc. If so, yes, this problem (and many others with this headunit) is very common. This thread is proof: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=258222

Go get it replaced while you're still under warranty.
