has anyone tried to put 0-01 front bumper on 03? would it fit? the reason is cuz im want to get the stillen front lip if this is possible...

 

Its going to cause an issue with the headlights, I believe its going to be touching the headlight and wont fit right.

i have 02 headlights on my car and it fits fine!

 

no problem at all i like it more than 2k and up bumpers

 

just wait for the max tuning aero lip to come out in the next month. would be alot cheaper just waiting another month to get the lip rather than getting a whole new bumper plus the lip.

 

ha, i finally know whos max this is, ive seen you on dallas hwy a few times, at the race trac once.....and i think i saw u parked up by sapporos one nite.

 

yeah.. i use to cook at sapporos.

 

IMO stillen lip looks to be alot better quality and fits the 01 bumper contours better

Yep...Stillen also lined up the cutouts on their lip with the factory cutouts. Maxxxtuning didn't bother to widen the cutouts on their lip to match the 2k2/2k3 style. IMO is just doesn't look right. To each his own though.

kpby911...the front grills are different sizes from 2k/2k1 to 2k2/2k3 so if you were able to make the 2k bumper fit you would have the get the 2k grill also.

 

like you said, maxxtuning's kit just doesnt go with 02-03s. i guess im going to have to start looking around junk yards... thanks for the info!
