I was jsut wondering when did most of you blow ur MAF

1) when you were driving hard possibly trying to show off the sound and came off looking like an idiot

or 2) did it happend while normal cruising

or 3)gradually in time it went

whats the issue with the max MAF? why do so many blow? is it due to modifications?

what did you pay for the new 03 MAF. I have an 02 and i just put on an intake, kind of hesitant to leave it on untill i have a spare.

came with car...call up Dave B-888-254-6060 i think the sensor alone is like under $100

Mine blew when I was stopped at a light!!!
I started to go and the car didn't want to go over 2kRPMs.

It blew out because the nissan MAF sensor SUCKS donkey b@!!s. I blew the one in my 2k and one in my 87. I never blew one in any of my other cars

My MAF never blew on me. I had my car with injen cold air for 18K and still no problem.

MAF went out because I didn't let my filter dry after I cleaned it and I was stupid enough to spray BRAKE CLEANER directly into it... STUPID ME

first one blew during CAI install, second one is slowly dying as i speak...probably gonna pick up a spare or two from junked max's, if i can haggle the junkyard's to get rid of em real cheap.
