Changed INJEN filter to K&N - Slower?
Changed INJEN filter to K&N - Slower?
I just changed my Injen filter (the one that came with the intake) about 2 weeks ago to a K&N. The K&N is smaller than the injen (overall), which actually suprised me...since the Injen is pretty small to begin with.
I've noticed that the car is quieter but it also doesn't seem to pull as hard. I also noticed that the car doesn't rev as high...hits a wall like it did with the stock intake setup. Anyone else having similiar issues? Is there a better filter out there? I've heard people mention warpspeed or something...

Maybe I'm just going crazy....but it's definitely not revving as high anymore.
Which K&N filter did you put on your Injen intake? I replace the filter that came with Injen with K&N RR-3001 (Inverted design and bigger). I would say overall its better than the Injen filter (Had 15K miles on the filter when i replace it, very dirty!).

RU-2820. $35 shipped at ajusa.

Then sell your injen filter on ebay. Mine went for $28

Does the inverted top make any difference?
