VQ35DE gets some pistons

Since the maxima and the 350z have the same engine it's going to get everything.

Old news but probably worth repeating since I'm sure many missed it in the past.

I've already purchased 8.5:1 pistons, Pauter Rods (and had them both coated by Swain Tech), and the ARP studs. That stuff is pretty dang expensive, but you have to pay to play (as the old addage goes...)

Can I see some pics of the Swain Tech coating?

I doubt you needed to upgrade the rods, but since you're in there, might as well.

If that was the case, the Z would have a 4.5liter engine. The pistons can't be bigger than the cylinders.

Q45 = V8

Q45 Bore = 93, Stroke = 82.7
VQ35 Bore = 95.5, Stroke = 81.4

Makes sense now. Didn't know the bore and stroke of the Q45.
