2000 se running rough

i have a 2000 se with 43k on it, i have not driven it for a month and when i started it today it was running rough and had no power, ses light was flashing. 10 minuites later it cleared up and has been running fine,,what gives??? is this a coil failure?? or does the computer need to be flashed??? i will take it into dealer next week. also are coils covered under powertrain warrenty???? i bought this car at auction a year ago, great deal.

It's possible but it could be a lot of different things, and no, the coils aren't covered under the powertrain warranty.

If it had been sitting for a month, perhaps you had some water or sediments in the bottom of the fuel tank which collected over the month and got sucked in when you turned it on, causing the rough running. That, or maybe it was just really, really, really, really cold.

I had my 2000 SE in my garage for about a month and I started it up and let it warm up.....when it was fully warmed up I just gave the gas a quick tap...My car stalled after that....I started it up and it ran fine from then on....see if the problem persists.....if not it might just be some wierd thing ...who knows
