2k Brake Judder problem
2k Brake Judder problem
I had a 2k maxima gxe with the bad brake judder problem, which was fixed during the warranty period. THe dealer charged me about $700 for the repair to resurface them. I did not know about the TSB for it at that time, which claims that this repair was under warranty. Is there anyway i can be recompensated for this?

Yes, please check your billing receipt............$700? I almost fell off my chair reading that price. If the price is correct then did they do any other work to the car aside from running the rotors on the on-the-car lathe?? If not you have been more than raped..........
Here is the TSB for the judder: NTB00-088

Update
I'm sorry, I didnt actually have the reciept with me at the time i made teh post. The cost was $700 but that included $400 30,000 mile service. So the brake job actually cost around $300. They claim they "replaced worn out rear brake pads and machined rotors". This problem has come back even after they said they fixed it

Im not sure which ones are causing the judder. Is there anyway to tell if it is the front or rear brakes? If i do end up replacing them, do the oem replacements still have this problem. You'd think they would have realized their rotors are faulty and i'd assume they've fixed the problem with the oem replacements. Or would i just be better off getting aftermarket ones like the powerslots?

This is total bs. i just got off the phone from the nissan usa and i send them the reciept. They say it was too long ago, and it wasnt indicated on the reciept that it was SPECIFICALLY "brake judder", and said it was normal wear and tear.
Is there anything i can do to get my money back. $300 for a freaking brake repair is a ripoff still, and id like to get it back
