headlight and brake light 2001 max

does anyone has know what bulbs are the stock bulbs in my 2001 max headlights ? are they silverstar ? they are not too yellowish, and kinda white, that is why i wonder. i have been thinking about putting in PIAA super xtreme white bulbs, with up to 4150k for low beam, anyone did that ? any noticeable difference ?

has anyone replaced their brake light with LED bulbs ? i wonder if that is possible. if you did, mind sharing what LED bulbs you have put in ? and where to get them.

happy maximaing, and great v day

Stock 2001 headlights are not Silverstars. They're some cheap crap bulb. Silverstars (or most any other Super White bulbs) will be a noticable upgrade.

I also would NOT recommend the LED bulbs in your tails. They don't produce much visible light and are hard to see during the day. I used the 14-LED bulbs in the rear blinkers and got honked at constantly because people couldn't see them blinking. Taillights would be even worse, IMO. Unless it's a custom LED setup like some of the members here have created, it's not going to be very bright.
