loud squeaky sound from brakes question

i get a really loud screach from my brakes when light braking. it sounds like its coming from all 4.. im pretty sure my pads are trashed as i have 51k miles on em without changing em... i also get an even louder screch when i reverse and use the brakes.. and i even get a light screach when i make slow light turns.. so you think its just pads are is my whole brake system fuxored?

well when you change pads you need to atleast cut/resurface ur current rotors but i say its better to reaplce rotors and pads at the same time

get your pads from Dave B OEM (everyone with aftermarket ones complain alot about loud grins and squeeks so i say go with OEM)

and get some Brembo blanks rotors....unless you want to go with powerslot or drilled

My rears are also making the shrieking sound. The owner's manual says that this is the indicator sound that the pads are low. The sound does not necessarily mean that the pad is down to the metal. You may not even need new rotors.

this may be the cause the noise : the warning tap on the brake pad is touching the rotor.
