AHHHHH..... Please help. Anyone who has the Indiglo Maxima Door sills please tell me some wiring instructions. I bought them off of custommaxima.com and the instructions were vague. I want to wire them to the door lights so when u open the door they light up. Also im going to but a RSB but i was wondering if it is really worth it, i know everyone is recomending it. What am i gaining by having one. Thanks for your help

Pop off your moldings around the door on the driver's side, and the molding going up the side of the driver's seat - where the seat belt comes out of. there's two wires at the sensor/door pin. (The button that gets pushed in when you close the door.) I did mine about 6 months ago, so if my memory serves me correctly, there are three wires for the door sills. Two blacks, and a red. Wire the red to a constant 12v+, i tapped it from the fuse box- near the lower left of the steering wheel. @the door pin/sensor - i believe it's the green striped wire that you want to tap into & connect with the shorter black wire from the door sill harness, and the longer black wire isto be grounded. The only downside to wiring the sills this way is that if you leave the auto seat feature on (i have an 03 - i don't know if ur's has this),but when the car is running, if someone opens any of the doors, the drivers seat slides back as if it would when you were getting out of ur door. NO big deal - if u have any trouble wiring it up - AOL-IM me @: ghettothug84 & i'll give u my cell #, and i'll go in my car and take apart the molding and check it out for you.
