2000 climate control question? Help.

I presently dont have the climate control in my maxima. I was wondering if it is as simple as removing my manual heater /ac controls and inserting the climate control module from another maxima into my own? Is it the same connections in the rear of the controls or is there some special wireing that needs to be there? Being that the automatic climate controls were only available in cars that got the bose system. Is the wireing like bundled up behind my factory heater /ac controls just waiting to be used? If so will all 2000 through 2003 climate control modules fit or just from the 2000? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

no, no and no. to all the questions.

someone did that conversion to his 92 or 93 max a few weeks back. not exactly plug and play to say the least.

can be done for lots of $$$
you would have to redo ALL the wiring. you would have to install the temp sensors. one under the hood for outside temp and one inside for inside temp.
not worth it
