Could you post a pic? I am still waiting for mine and I'd like to see what type of frustration I am going to be dealing with when it arrives.

Personally, I wouldn't use the bracket. It's gonna break within a few months anyway. There is way too much motion going on in the engine when you hit the gas and it pulls and tugs like hell on that brace. It works fine without it.

Vibrating noise? What I did is place a piece of doublesided 3M tape on the piece of metal that it hits on the strut tower. I left the plastic on the side facing the filter and it stopped the scrapping of the filter against this metal. I haven't heard any noises though. Are you sure all of your coupler clamps are tight? Bryan asked me to test out a new bracket for the Berk intake which I'm planning on installing tomorrow.

I've had the bracket on for about 5 months now and it has not broke yet. I took the bracket, put it on the floor so the bend makes an arch over the floor and hammered it a little at time so it fits. Now it fits perfectly and I have no knocking sounds.

That's it. The 3M tape has worked great. The plastic facing the filter has worn some, but not much.

FrankenCar's name is crap. Good intake, but lousy, no horrific customer service. I originally had a Berk intake on my car. When Berk came out with there midpipe, I jumped on it immediately. Unfortunately, Bryan was lost in action. It took some time, but everyone got their money back. I was ****ed as everyone else was and Steve from FrankenCar jumped all over the situation and bashed Bryan. Well, Bryan from Berk is back. His products cost much less and are built much better. The T6061 Polished aluminum looks much better than the welded powdercoated steel FrankenCar midpipe. Bryan's customer service has been nothing short of remarkable. After talking with him through email and pm's, he mailed me the equiptment I wanted before I even paid for them. (Paypal takes a while sometimes). Berk was the original intake company around here and I'm sticking with him. I'll be selling my original Berk intake with the FrankenCar midpipe after installing the new equiptment from Berk.

Beleive it or not I just got my Frankencar Intake today. And to think I ordered it in November. Man I guess I am going to have some fun dealing with the bracket huh?

One thing also did you guys get the instructions with it? Or how about even a sticker?

At least my kid had fun playing with the popcorn in the box =)

I can vouch for this, Bryan is the freakin' man when it comes to customer service. He really does go above and beyond...and beyond..and beyond the call of duty when it comes to dealing with the people who purchase his products.

Don't worry, the bashing is more about customer service as your post shows than the product which is excellent. Many people have had problems with the bracket breaking. Some don't. Steve informed me at one time that he makes each bracket by hand. Mine put alot of pressure on my MAF. With it gone the filter lays into the grove between the strut tower and the battery more naturally and with the bracket not attached it flexes without putting strain on the whole intake track. The couplers are very strong to hold it in place as long as you tighten down the straps.
