Nissan Service -- WHY?
Nissan Service -- WHY?
As you can tell by my threads today, I am doing some maintenance on the car. As I was outside cleaning some leaves from the engine bay, I noticed that both of my fans were unplugged? WTF would Nissan need to do this?
Luckily it has been cold here for the last few months. I can recall hearing the fans turn on in the summer time, I do very little city driving and the thermometer never got above Normal (as far as I know). I can only assume this happened during the last service because I might have noticed it before then. The only thing I let Nissan do is rotate the tires, however, during the last service they did the "Poor Power TSB" where the MAF was replaced and the ECU was upgraded. Anyone know why Nissan would need to unplug both of my fans for this?
(I don't take the car anywhere else for maintenance, the last 26k miles have been for only tire rotations, recalls and the one TSB).

I suspect it was either them or the gas station I went to for my inspection. I tend to think the gas station, but only if they were looking there to plug in the ODBII system...why would either need to unplug the fans?
