This winter was brutal, and my all season mats didnt have enough surface coverage. I have a white/beige interior, and the carpet under the mats is freakin filthy, dirt, grime, salt, who knows what else. Is there any product or method to completly clean it to look new. The car is only a year old, but the carpets are disgusting. I used to have black interior on my si, and didnt have to deal with this.

go get the interior steam cleaned...if not go to the grocery store and get a foam carpet clean, then scrub the **** out of it...

dont feel too bad about stained carpets, i had some pool acid spill on my front passenger mat, eating a hole thru it and partially thru the carpet under the floor mats!!! that sucked

I would try some Blue Coral Dri-clean. It's a carpet and upholstery cleaner. It has worked well for me in the past.

spot shot is the best spray it on and wipe it off with a damp cloth

Go to your local auto store (R&S / PepBoys, etc...) and pick up a can of Tuff Stuff Carpet Cleaner. Spray the **** out of your mats & carpet, glob it on like there's no tomorrow - let it sit for like a min, and rub it out w/ a rag/cloth - it works wonders! Do it a few times if you're not satisfied at how it comes out the first time. Depending on how bad ur carpets are - you might need to do it a few times.
