I own a sterling mist 2000 SE and I installed the anniversary edition door sills today. What an easy install. Basically you take the old sill and starting with the front or rear end you lift up so as to pop out the plastic clips that are integral with the sill. If any are left over (I had one) use a needle nose to depress the tab on the clip and lift it out. The new ones simply pop into the three square hole that the old ones were in. Note on the back of the sills which are right and which are left. I used clear silicone to help keep them from lifting in case of accidental foot impingement. I love my Maxima. Beside the Maxima I have a 2001 Chrysler 300M ( with performance and handling package) and a 1990 Miata. Although the Miata is very much fun to drive particularly with the top down, the Maxima feels like a 500 series Beemer and it is my favorite. I like very stiff suspensions and the SE is perfect for the road feel that I like. Monday I will be getting slotted and drilled rotors and I give a brief install rundown on them. In case you haven't guessed I'm a car nut who likes to do his own maintenance / upgrades.

What do think about the 300 m I was considering one before I bought the max. btw. Have you seen the new ones they look sick!! Bentley like

i think the trunk is so ugly but the rest of the car looks good. still prefer a Maxima
